Relax with a home photoshoot for your new baby

Mobile newborn photographer - Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire & Sheffield
The arrival of a new baby is an amazing time, but can also be very busy! Health visitors, breast feeding support teams, family, friends, trips back to the hospital, the list goes on and on.... and with it, the window for those beautiful new photos of baby in the first two weeks becomes increasingly more difficult to fit in. Never mind actually trying to get out of the house to visit a studio with half of the house packed in a nappy bag!
Whilst I have a studio available for older babies and children, I like to keep newborn sessions available for you at home for this exact reason.
Travelling to families across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Sheffield, my kit is light and easy to set up in any size living room or kitchen, all I need is a window nearby for the natural light and we're all set!
Sessions are calm, relaxed, and often leave mums & dads half asleep on the sofa by the end! Forget about the pots in the sink, or the pile of washing, hoovering - they're all things that can wait! I'm a mum of two so I understand what it's like to have a new baby in the house.
Finding the right photographer for you and your new baby is so important, not only their style, props they use, or where they're based, but most importantly making sure they have safe practices.
I'm very lucky to be part of a great network of Newborn Photographers who work and train alongside each other. Set up by Maddy Rogers from Grimsby, https://www.maddyrogers-photography.co.uk/ we work together to share best practices in the interest of our clients and their new babies. If you're looking for a photographer with great style, not only for Newborns, but for stunning maternity shoots, check out Carli Adams at http://www.bailieandbelle.com based in Saint Albans, I just love her work!
