Newborn Baby Photoshoot sample gallery & what to expect

Updated: Jan 23

Mobile newborn baby photographer - Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire / South Yorkshire

So your new baby has arrived & you want some professional photographs of them while they're tiny, but what images will you get at the end of the photoshoot?

You’ve done your research and booked your newborn photography session but I suspect you are probably wondering what type of images you're likely to receive after the photoshoot, so here is a little blog to hopefully give you a better idea of what to expect.

As we all know, each baby is different and so each photoshoot is different. In my world, baby runs the show and I work with them, at their pace. They all have their comfy spots and preferences, even at such a young age their character definitely shines through!

I have a range of poses that I will consider for each photoshoot but the final outcome will be tailored to you and your baby. I always encourage family shots, even if that's just your hands! Siblings, pets, grannies and grandads can all be included if you would like to.

I've created a sample gallery below based on a few different photoshoots to give you an idea of what I will include in each session;

I aim to take approximately 20-30 images during each shoot, which are then edited & sent to you to view via an online gallery around 2 weeks after.

If you have any thoughts on poses you would like me to include, particular colours you do/don't like, or family members you would like to involve, please do let me know, I'm more than happy to incorporate requests wherever possible.

To book your newborn baby photoshoot, I would encourage you to book early if possible. I take bookings using baby's due date from your 12/21 week scan, AND if you book before you're 28 weeks, you'll get 20% off your session fee!

Hop over and have a read of Mya's blog about why we should print photos Huddersfield.
